Not sure if this should be in the gear forum or not but since it's archery related...

Where I'm gonna be on opening morning doesn't have any trees big enough for a tree stand so I'm gonna be using a ground blind. My question is, would a 48"x48" blind be large enough to draw and shoot a bow from or should I buy a 60x60 blind? I would make a blind out of whatever brush is laying around but I want to be able to hunt in the rain and not get soaked. My draw length is around 28-29" so I'm thinking at full draw, a 48x48 may be too small. What say y'all?

I would go with the bigger one. Better to have to much room than not enough. Like having one that I can move around in if need be, never know when you might need to stretch or maybe shed some clothes or anything. I thought about one close to that size but when I took a piece of plywood and taped off half of it (48x48) then put a stool in the middle of it not as much foot room as I thought. But the 48x48 will work if its just you. Would suggest a hub type, much easier to put up and take down and more stable IMO.
