Good luck everybody. Headed out in KY. Course we've been open since the 13th but I haven't had a chance to get out much yet. Maybe they'll be moving good this morning everywhere.
Listened with impact ears as my wife walked back about 20 minutes ago. Sitting on the back porch waiting for my 10 year old to wake up. Just about legal light here. Pretty morning.

Ain't seen the 1st deer and kinda slow. Not many shots heard and that's odd. This morning is just like yesterday morning nuthin to it! Yesterday afternoon was much better saw 7 and killed a yote. So I'm hoping this afternoon will be much better.

The only things out this morning so far is me and a couple squirrels 🐿 in Mcnairy
Coming off a full moon, I usually have better luck in the afternoons or later in the mornings. Very light wind here, was a good frost. Have not heard a single shot, but have not been outside the last little while. Figure most in these parts took advantage of the cwd rules allowing rifle in muzzleloader season.

We are hunting standing corn this morning off in the hollow. Seen 10 slick heads and one small buck so far.
Wife has an 8 point she had been watching that she said it was limping bad on left front leg She just watched him bed down. Says she has also seen a doe, doe was watching the buck.
I will be in the stand early this afternoon, if she doesn't want to go. If I had someone to watch our son, we both could go.

I'm hunting acorn Savannah in old grown up pasture. Hardin county. 12 does. 2 spikes. Very windy. Pretty cold.

I have a nice 8 point already hanging on the meat pole from MZ season. I won't go out again until this one is in the freezer.
