What are yall looking at right now?

As of today (Tuesday) it says a high of 92 and mostly sunny.

That sounds bad at first, but look at the low on Friday night...66 degrees with a NE wind, switching to a N wind for Saturday. The spot I have picked out is perfect for a N or NE wind. I hope the forecast stays true up until the weekend.
 
I'm showing 92° and ESE wind 2-4 for Saturday evening, which is a completely wrong wind for most of my spots. I typically don't hunt mornings in early bow season.
 
It might be cool the first hour or so but once that sun gets above the horizon it's going to heat up fast. My hope is the humidity and dew points stays low. I can handle dry heat much better than muggy heat.

Either way this is the hottest opening weekend I've ever hunted.

it should be cool at least till 9 or so where I'm hunting. Won't be anything like this past Sunday or Monday afternoon when I was down at Laurel hill. I had a short walk to my tree and when I got there I was already sweating pretty bad.

If we are talking about the temperature at daylight which is what I track since that is when I will be in the woods, then it's not even close to the hottest for me. They are calling for a low of 66 Saturday morning here, and I can clearly recall hunting a several openers with the low above 70, the worst was 76 and humid. Now the daytime high of 90 here is nothing to be happy about, but I am rarely in the woods when the temps are peaking out, so I don't pay as much attention to that.
 
The forecast shows 92. The app shows peak deer movement from around 8:30-10:30. I'll probably sit in the tree until 10:30-11. I may not hit any of my top spots yet. I don't want to overhunt them this early.

I don't know what app you have but I expect peak deer movement to be around sunrise or even slightly before. Of course I could be wrong, we will see...

Being in MidTN my forecast is similar to Catman's. NNE light winds. I have a perfect setup for those conditions that produce at least one bow kill each year. Last year it was a big ol doe and the year before that was a nice little 2 1/2 year old nine pointer. Don't know how many I have killed from that stand over the last eight years.
 
My East TN forecast says SE winds very light, shifting after sunrise to SW. Both will work perfect for my early morning opening day set-up. Low of 61 degrees. I plan to he out of the tree by 9:30 am.
 
I have two stands up. One for a northly wind and one for southerly so I sould be ok unless the wind shifts after I'm set up. The heat really sucks, I've had cameras up all summer and I've seen a few of my target bucks only a couple of time in the morning after shooting light. I've seen them a few more times just before dark but I've seen them quite a few times after dark when it's cooler but I'll be out there anyway.

I won't be caught dead with shorts in the woods during seed tick season. Short sleeves sure, but long pants sprayed down good.

ha ha yes that was a mistake, but was before the seed ticks came out, and I didn't get eaten up.

I will be out in the morning, while it is in the 60's. wind direction is varying between N and NNE at 1 mph. many times they are saying calm, so very light winds.
 
Hate to say it but I am not going tim it cools down more. First time I can remember not hunting opening day. Looks like maybe next weekend! smh

when there is no thermal around you then your scent spreads out and downward on calm mornings. I have been busted this way more than once.

yep that's true, I got dumped on last Saturday on the early wma hunt. It would let up and then dump some more. Bought a rain suit during lunch and that helped, but it still was no fun. Never saw a deer that day either.
