Opening day excitment for a special reason.

This year Im taking my hero hunting on opening day. My Dad had a hearing implant surgery in Jan and had it turned on Feb 22. It has opened up a new world for him. He is 68 years old and has suffered from hearing loss from birth. He has always wanted to hunt turkeys with me but was afriad he couldnt hear one gobble and now hw thinks it will be possible. I've taken alot of things for granted and shoould be more thankful the little blessings of each day. I hope you will cherish the little things about memories I know March 30th if all goes according to plan will some luck me and Dad will get to share a great day in the woods and who knows we might hear some turkeys.

I hunt with my dad a lot. He has hearing loss, and can't hear one unless it is right on top of us. I try to protect my hearing as much as possible. I'd hate to be in that shape!
