Buddy and I decided to try to take a bird this evening using bows.Had a good setup in an area where we had seen them during deer season.Set up our blind and decoys,began calling and waited.About an hour and a half later he says don't move here they come.They worked their way just as planned straight for the decoys so I picked my spot and waited, as the lead bird entered my sight I let loose, heard a solid hit and the bird went straight up then down as the others scattered. So after a few high fives and allowing my heart to settle we get out to look. Yep, you got it...no bird and an arrow stuck in a tree! I used the wrong dot and overshot the bird.A bit dissapointed but man was that exciting!
