Only getting does on my trail cam pics. Really never get the bucks until I find scrapes at the end of the year. Any advice
 
Couple years ago I started running camera in May. Ended up with 2 cameras on the place over an established salt lick. Had 2 spikes and maybe only 5 pictures over about 4 months. I hunted somewhere else lol

Try some kind of attractant like salt or use buck trails that are known from the fall. Bucks will scrape year round and old rubs can be used to determine trails too. Trial and error can be the two best teachers.
 
I wish I knew. Bucks tend to be solitary animals; either a single or a group of them. Except for the rut time frame they separate themselves from the does. The does get prime ground most of the year. Most likely if you're getting pics of nothing but does it may mean you're simply not in the territory the bucks have made home for the time being.

Rubbing is a ritual the bucks go through in the Fall and much of it prior to and into pre-rut. Considering bucks may have a summer home range and a Fall home range, last year's rubs may be indicative of where they tend to hang out before the Fall range shift takes place. If you can determine why these rubs were made where you see them it might help to establish mineral sites in those areas. The reason I say "if you can determine" for instance, is that although you may find rubs inside the timber surrounding fields I'd rule those out. They are probably holding pattern rubs made pre-rut into the rut by bucks seeking does and not their typical behavior pattern at this time of year.
 
I have three plots I have cameras on. Two of the plots which are better (good stand of clover) are 90% does and young bucks. The third which isn't as good of shape is 80% bucks. I brought this up a couple years ago and BSK said that the does will use the better food source and basically run the bucks off this time of year. Seems that's what my cameras show. But what does that BSK guy know about deer......

Some areas are more doe prone during the summer due to them seeking out the best habitat to raise their fawns, thus pushing bucks off to other parts. From my experience, you typically either get a lot of does and fawns, or several bucks on a single camera in the summer, and not much mixture of the two. Their are some exceptions to this, but that has been my experience for the most part over the last decade. I would not sweat it too much as the bucks are likely running together in a different area, and maybe completely off of your property. How many acres are you covering with your summer cams?
 
1 cam. I was just hoping to see a deer I've had my eye on for the past 3 seasons. I seen him once last year but didn't get any pic. My camera went down last year so I don't know if he made it
 
it's because the bucks aren't using that area during the summer. Some places are referred to as "doe sinks" because they support does year round, and bucks only come in during the rut to find and breed those does. The bucks are nearby and they will be in your doe zone come November
 
I usually see this guy before rut. I never could figure out how to post the pictures on here or I would put one up of him
 
Don't worry about it. You may well have the best fawning cover in the neighborhood, and the does are all trying to set up shop there. There's no telling what you'll have after early fall range shifts and the rut.
 
Don't get discouraged. At my salt lick I get mostly bucks in the summer and only a couple does but once sept comes it's mostly does and maybe I will get a pic of a couple of the bucks from sept thru jan that were there during the summer.
 
First, kill the does, and make sure to kill only momma does. Second, don't use trail cameras. Not a fan myself (never used them, well not for deer but for trespassers) and I still believe more bucks (especially old ones) are spooked every year by people using cameras than are ever killed because someone got a trial cam pic of them.
