one week to go

I started using spypoint cameras, what Ive learned in one month is if i climb a tree 15yds from current hang on I will see more mature bucks.

I remember last year I didnt want to go because it was 95, I sat and sweated for 2+ hours....but the sun set and movement began, shooting my largest archery buck....

I was told hunting early season is cheating....guess what, I dont care!!!

The weather forecast in my area is looking great. High 81 Friday with north wind.

Middle TN is going to have some interesting weather patterns to contend with if the forecast holds true...

Best of luck to you guys that get out this weekend, I am going to go squirrel hunting in the mornings and do a little scouting for opening day in September. Fort Campbell doesn't participate in the velvet hunt so I am just gonna scout and kill a couple limb chickens.
