my poor old 700 BDL 25-06 is on its 3rd bbl and it has well over 5000 rounds of max+ loads and the rifilings are gone for a ways,,I am goona have a new bbl done again but this time I think with the bullets available I am gonna do a 6.5-06.
so I loaded 50 100 gr NBT over 56 grs IMR 4831 and JW is gonna use it on the youth hunt this w/e and if he kills anything with it that will be it for that old Shaw bbl..
JW did manage a couple 3 shot groups at 100 at an inch and busted a couple jugs at 250 with it and that is still easy but man that bbl use to shoot one hole groups,,even with a 6x Redfiled Wideview scope from 1976.
