I think that a guy who hunts with several different rifles and calibers probably shoots more than a guy that just hunts with two. Any gun I plan on taking hunting gets a couple of trips to the range before the hunt. I use a couple to multiple rifles during season because of different terrain but primarily because I enjoy using them and want to get a kill with all of them..Each get about equal range time,no more than needed really just enough to keep dialed in.
