Wouldn't the Cotton bowl be just as good? I haven't looked at the money or anything. Just wondering. They got Bama to the Sugar bowl because they're the highest ranked sec team not in playoffs. I understand wanting the Sugar bowl because of tradition.

I think most TN fans want to play Clemson. Clemsons NC teams were built with some players that should have been at TN, but with the mess chose elsewhere.

That, and the fans that travel, would rather be in Miami !
