I remember and for 700 yards there are better ways to go,,I would like to be able to go farther,,with authority.

Mr. Big you have a .300 RUM. Set up correctly with 208 AMAX's it will hang with a .338 lapua till around 1500...how far are you shooting? I say skip the lupy and go with a .375 cheytac it will go farther and hit with way more authority and will not cost to much more to load for than a .338... Lapua brass is expensive. Get a Lawton action, a barrel, and stock. Run you around 2k or a little more. Not much more than a MLR.
