I originally thought nothing was going to come of all of this, but I'm beginning to think otherwise. The NCAA seems to have doubled down and made it obvious they are out to bury us.
This article (if true) indicates to me that the NCAA doesn't have much of anything yet and they are desperate to find something. A player from Mississippi State would say something negative about Ole Miss? NO WAY! Without proof their word isn't worth a fart in the wind. Offering players immunity to rat an opposing team out is just the kind of crap the NCAA makes up to fit their agenda.
It's time for the University to stop playing nice with the NCAA and lawyer up heavily.
I do not think Ole Miss is innocent of all recruiting violations, but I don't think any school in the Big Five conferences is innocent. Some bug crawled up the tail end of the NCAA and they've got us in their sights. Mississippi State is butt hurt from sucking hind teat and shamelessly says whatever they can to try to hurt us.
