Older deer than I thought

I posted earlier about an old deer I shot this season. I was going through some old trail camera pics. I found a pic of him from 2013 and looks like he was 3 1/2 maybe 2 1/2 then.

Here he was this year 2017. Thought it was neat.

Rule number 1- Never take pics of a 14 inch wide deer from the front! Lol

Have you measured the base of his rack?

His actual R C1 is 5 5/8 and L 5 C1 is 5 1/8. He is 8 1/8 around the extra point on the very bottom on right side
