Old remington hevi shot?

What are they worth? I found a few boxes locally in #4 but wasnt sure if they was worth the price on them.

My wifes gun love the #6. I paid 15 dollars a box for the last one i bought.

I wish I could find the #6. I would love to have some but they want 28 for a box of them. And only have #4s

Anybody else have trouble with all the little white stuff falling out of the shells and gumming up your shotgun? I've had to fill the ends of the shells with elmers glue to seal them up. I was using hot candle wax, but decided maybe that wasn't very smart.

If I could find a few boxes of the the 3" #6 I would take as many as I could get my hands on. My dads old 500 shoots the fir out of them.

Yes, I've had the same problem, even with hevi 13. I was using elmer's glue, but it came off one shell and the buffer jammed up the magazine on my daughter's gun. Didn't think I was ever going to get those shells out. For her gun now, I'll only put shells with buffer in the barrel.

I think the hot wax would be fine though. I might try that.

I would love to find some in #6 but all this place had left was #4 and at 28 bucks a box I dont believe Ill experiment with them.

I bought a case of them before they quit making them still shooting them...those old Rem HS were the real deal. Mine are 3 1/2" #5s

yeah we still have about 14 shells left of #6. guess we will find a diiferent load whem we run out of those
