He has always loved to shoot and at one time was as good a shot as there was around..at 73 he finally had himself a full on no holds barred rifle built..

Borden Rimrock BRM drop port action with the Bix and Andy trigger..Wheeler 4 inch stock ..Krieger 8 twist 6mm BR Ackley Improved chamber..15 to 55 Nightforce Comp scope..

We loaded 32 rounds 105 Hybirds with 29 grains 4895 powder just to get started forming brass and breaking in barrel this morning.

2 targets are shots 22 through 32 from clean bbl with no foulers and no load work ..
I think its gonna be a shooter..

He will get years of enjoyment out of that fine rig!!
He got some 105 Hammers and some new 80s Barts making on the way...got some Vapor Traiks off Junebug..

He was talking yesterday about a 12 twist bbl...

That thing would make an unreal UL rifle in UBR.

Mighty nice rifle and shooting, take a couple of fellers to tote that thang to the bench lol. Reckon how much it weighs? . on powder is that a close to full load or lite load to breakin ? Powder wise don't sound too $$ I know the bullets cost a bit though.

It's a little under 17.5 pounds with scope....29 is just a fire form load with BR brass...it should tune in somewhere between 30 and 31 in the BRA.
