My brother is entered in the tourney. Was gonna watch em but I will be on my way to Kansas. He's on some solid fish

Its going to take some serious weight for sure. I caught about 10 1/2 lbs on 7 last Saturday in about 4 Hrs. Best one went 2.18. Those guys that have been practicing for the better part of two weeks are going to absolutely wreck them with this weather.

I too was surprised at the low weights. Relatively shallow black crappie probably aren't into the amount of pressure they have been receiving the past week or so.

It starts in Nashville. Its a madhouse on the weekends but not nearly as bad as Percy Priest.

Chase Petty and Greg Westmoreland won.Chase has our crappie brakes ,visualizer and we have helped him with his electronics.He won the Mr crappie invitational at the crappie expo a month or so ago,really good fishermen.I have personally been on 2 guided crappie trips with him.

Pretty good,$13,000 for 1st and $500 for big fish from the big checks he is holding in pics on facebook.The crappie indentations he won $50,000

How do these tournaments work. 7 fish are weighed? Is that a 2 man team or 7 person ? My son is wanting to try one (small local ones) . We will get smoked but it may be fun.

Usually 7 fish,each tournament is different.I would suggest reading the rules for the tournament you decide to fish.If you place high or big fish some times you may have to take a polygraph.I use to fish tournaments we got big fish on kylake and I had to take a polygraph..They had 2weeks you couldn't be on tournament water before practice started,no sharing info etc.

Yep,true,boy I work for had 14.11 lbs or something like that one yr and got 4th place on kylake.
