I did not. Being a Lifetime ASA member, I am automatically qualified for all State shoots, so there was no pressure in me forcing the issue. Also, I didn't feel like fighting the rain and the all problems that come with shooting in the rain and having a scope....and I didn't have to trudge threw all that mud. In all my years out there, I've never seen that Old Hickory that muddy but we've pretty much had a constant rain and saturated ground since the ice storms, so it shouldn't be a surprise that there are puddles in places that there have never been puddles. I will be shooting next month regardless because it is our leg of the Middle Tennessee Championship.
