I've never fished it but I've been wanting to, I'm sure there are some out deep on the ledges to be caught.

I've fished it quite a bit the last few years, and still don't know how to catch fish there in the summer time!

In the early mornings I have a little luck concentrating on the mouths of coves.

In general, if they are moving water, fish the ledges and secondary drops on the main river. If they are not, go to the creeks and look for the deep water close to shallow flats. I used to do well in late summer flipping all of the log jams on the top and bottom of the river islands from 109 up stream. used to flip a tube but a beaver or a jig will do just as well.
Good point above whether or not they're moving water.
Bass were biting well yesterday evening while they were discharging. 3 hour/3 fish tournament out of Cedar Creek was wondering with around 13lbs. Discharge was much lower this evt Tonight's tournament out of Davis Corner was being won by 6.5lbs when I left, and I think everyone had weighed in.
