Did a little shooting today with some old ammo I had. All was 10 yards. Top left is a Citadel 45 with 3.25 barrel with 14 shots. Top right and bottom left were both 10 shots with Sig SP2340. Middle is 15 shots with FNS 9mm. Bottom right is 15 shots with S&W Bodyguard 38 spl.
I pull the trigger with the end of my finger. I got into this with shooting the rifle over the years and carried it over to the pistol. Probably would move more center with a better trigger pull. Almost every handgun I shoot is a little left. The Citadel is a lot more accurate than I did today. It did not like the old stuff. The FNS... does not like cheap stuff one bit. Both of these are a lot better than what the target showed today. The S&W... well lets just say it's not a target pistol by any means. I was surpised I did that well.
The Citadel has a VERY light trigger pull. It's almost dangerous if you pick it up after shooting something else. That could have added to the bad performance. I had sent about 100 rounds out the FNS right before picking it back up.
Everything ate the old cheap stuff without a flaw. That makes the day even better. Now I've got to get them upstairs and clean them back up.
