Okra wilting?

Okra is normally bulletproof here. For some reason I've got a section of three rows that stays wilted looking most of the time.

Sorry about the picture quality, but if you look you'll notice how much better the row in the back looks.

The only difference I can think of is the small patch of sandy loam where a large elm tree used to be. I've heard okra doesn't like lighter soil as much. Could that be it?

maybe the moisture is draining out of the sandy soil. its been hotter than you know what here and i have been having to water daily to keep squash and cukes bearing. tomatoes and beans are doing wonderful though.

OK, thanks guys!

I'll dry giving them a good drink tomorrow. We've been in an "exceptional drought" all spring/summer.

I like those answers better than the nematoes and f/v wilt possibilities. :)

I'll update tomorrow night or so.
