I killed a doe the other day on our land in Mississippi and it had these weird nodes growing in its back legs down by the bone with little while tendrils growing off into the meat.... Anyone got a clue what it is?
Appears to me to be hemal nodes. They are common in deer and cause nor represent any harm. They are usually found in other areas of the body but this is not an unlikely area. Hard to tell by the pictures but that's my guess.
