I have never brushed a duck blind out of a boat before.
Got any tips to lessen the learning curve for a brotha ?

What was that blind number we were at? I have been looking at the satelite map trying to figure out where we were at.

I finally figured it out.

Bind the brush tight with twine so you can get more in the boat at once. Bigger pieces for a base and then use zip ties to hold smaller pieces in place. Do the roof and boat port first so that the brush on the blind don't interfere with passing up to the roof. Once you get to the sides, layer it with stems down close to blind, leaves down to cover that and keep the stem/trunk/limb pieces hid as best you can.
 
It's nice to use big pieces of brush because you get move covered in less time. But it will kill you trying to lift and move big pieces from a boat. Cut you brush smaller than normal before loading it in the boat.

Also, tie your boat off tight to the blind and brush what you can reach. Then untie, move a few feet, and tie off again.
 
we always throw the brush in the blind first.. then have someone in the blind pickin out the right pieces and then holding in place for person in boat to use zip tie.. always works good for us that way
 
You can wrap the blind in chicken wire and thread the ends of the brush into the wire.
Also expect to loose some of the brush that touches the water to beavers
 
My group takes 3 or 4 pieces of brush, bundle together with tire wire, then have someone in the blind to drive a nail in the front rail, pull the bundle up to how ever high you want it and tie it off and if won't go anywhere, if done right. Do a bundle every 2 foot. Stuff the front rail to hide faces. Then we was take about ten 20 foot trees and stand them up and tie them off looks great.
