Gave it her best try, in raw, windy, cold conditions...but didnt see a single deer. I believe I'd have about 30 ac clearcut for a field so she could see the 5 or 6 deer on our place here in se Tn, if it wouldn't be helping the local poaching squad so much. I hate that I can't even buy a dang deer sighting for her out there. :( I'm afraid she may be losing interest, just bc she probably feels there are no deer out there, and just wonders what's the use in continuing to endure the elements for nothing.

If you have roadside land there are cover plants that grow quickly that could be planted along the road.

The trespassing poachers walk thru and across my property, so it wouldn't affect their access. There is almost 100% woods surrounding my property lines, and they walk thru from any direction it seems. I'm going to have to place a shooting house out in the woods, deep, where I have the most sightings (which are few and far between anyway) to increase the odds in her favor, but log chain it to a few trees I guess....and hope we can hunt from it before they find it, disassemble, and steal it.
