Not a trail cam pic but just a pic. I was checking on some bluebird houses to see how they're doing. Seems like I hadn't seen any baby bluebirds. This was the first house I opened to see how they are getting along. I evicted the son of a gun it was about 4 and 1/2 or 5 ft long.

Last year I happened to be in the back yard and heard the Bluebirds that had babies in a house on the fence. They were having a fit, there was a chicken snake climbing up the slat fence and was almost to the birdhouse. Good thing for the baby birds I was there. :)

We have had the same happen a couple times, chicken snake climbed the wooden post the house was on. First time it happened my wife opened up the front of the house and saw the snake, and ran in and got me. It was too late that time but next time around caught a snake in the process of climbing. Don't know if they hear the baby birds in the house or just how they know there is food up in that little box.

I have seen a big black snake climb a tree because I believe it knew there were Robin nests up there including baby robins. I barely got a hold of its tail trying to pull it back down but couldn't do it. That sucker was like a super magnet to the side of that tree. Really gripped. I assume it eventually found the Robin's Nest.
