Date has been set!!!

September 7, 2014

Lockup the women and children (unless they fish)

Trout will be caught

Stripers will be killed

Strippers will be tipped

$17 baits will be cast

Meet at Golden Girls in Clinton. The food alone will make this trip worthwhile......

10 am at Golden Girls if they are going to start generation at 10 am that day. If they do not run generators we will have to call it off. The generating schedule will be posted Saturday night and I will post if it's a go or no go that night.

I normally don't post pics of the trout I catch on the Clinch, but I will post up a couple today to show some of the beauties that I have caught. Maybe the pics will spark some more interest in coming to the float for those who are not sure of coming. Yes, I do catch them like that quite often. Deer Assassin was with me on one of the trips and he caught a beast Brown trout for his first trout ever. I cannot find that pic. I hope the generation schedule will be good to us that day.

You should be safe, they are dropping Norris quickly. Good luck!

I'm hoping your right. I'd think with TVA drawing the lake down they would want to crank it on as soon as they get a chance.

I'll have a spot for one person on my boat if anyone is wanting to go but has no ride.

If anyone coming tomorrow has some 15 pound flouro line, I would appreciate it if you brought me about 20 feet of it. I need it for tying some leaders and have a hard time parting with $20 when I just need a few feet. Depending on how big of a guy you are, I'll buy your breakfast.

The generators will turn on at 12 noon tomorrow. I think it would be good if we could meet at Golden Girls at 12 noon and have breakfast/lunch so the water will have time to rise deep enough to launch safely.

I have fluoro line buzz. It's 10# Seaguar.

Thanks for the offers on the line, but I'm kind of needing 15# for what I want to do. Ill pickup a spool somewhere in the next couple of weeks if I don't run across any.

I'll be at Golden Girls at noon. But, I've got a yard pass for the whole day so I'm going to be on the backside of Miller's Island at daylight if anyone wants to come join me.

Buzz, I have all the equipment you will ever dream of in my boat. What in the world are you thinking of with 15# fluoro? I guarantee you 10# Seaguar will do everything you need in the Clinch. It's what I caught that gigantic striper on.

I'll explain later today. It'll make sense then. I'm actually spoiled up with 10# Seaguar.

The generating schedule has not changed over night. Still on for 12 noon at Golden Girls for breakfast and lunch. Looks like it's going to be a great day for this float. I can't wait to get up there.

Great day on the Clinch! Even if we didn't get that monster striper. Thanks for the trip guuys. Glad it didn't get too crowded.............Nice to meet some more members.

Good day on the Clinch. It was nice to meet Model70Man and to see Buzzard Breath again. Here's a few that BigPop caught.

I had a blast and it was nice meeting you BigPop and seeing you again SES. I haven't had the time to download any pics yet, but it was a good day for a float.

I had a great time out there and it was awesome meeting more members. The fish were hitting and following the lures as always. I wish the bite that happened towards the end of the day would have been like that the whole day.

I bought mine 4 years ago, used, and I love it. I have a Merc 60/40 on it and it will run wherever I want it too. I'll never have a glass boat again.
