Does the small one have a browtine?

Yep 2 of them I wouldn't have been able to shoot him if he didn't  . It weighed 116 and the 11 weighed 122. That 11 was a really nice 2 1/2 year old deer but normally one of us gets a much bigger deer, body wise anyway. I'm only getting to hunt the first day so it was first come first serve.

I got a small 8 this morning - shot at and missed a big buck yesterday morning - both from the same stand - between 3 of us Thursday and today, we seen 9 bucks

DK077, out of curiosity what area are you hunting, Genesis, Peavine, or Bicolor? I'm not asking for your spot, just wondering which area seems to be holding the most deer. According to Carlos posts, Genesis is not been to good to his party.

We were on bicolor but when I checked out the GW told me that over 40 of the 63 were killed on genesis

No - I've never hunted that side- most of the shots I heard were coming from the end of my barrel- lol-

Just got home out of 5 of us seen 1 shooter and 3 does total we were on bicolor side seen no chasing not even little bucks 4 other groups camping beside us seen 4 does out of 4 groups not good for us

Carlos, what's the latest deer talley? For those of you that hunted this past week on Catoosa, what area would you recommend or not for the upcoming ML hunt?

Thanks Carlos for the update, glad you had a good time. Looking forward to getting away for a couple days myself with a few buddies. It will be a good time with or without the deer.
