Saturday evening

Friday evening (cell phone through binoc pic at 15 yards). I had pictures of that buck in July. I had pulled my cameras off this property to scout another farm and just hunted this stand after work before the rain started. He ate that salt/mineral concoction for about 10 minutes.

The clearing to the left is a corn field on the Hatchie Refuge. Back to the right is a bean field......actually directly behind me 30 yards, this view is to my right when I am in the stand.

This is private land that borders the Refuge. The line is about 50-75 yards or so from my stand location....Mostly thick with cane mixed in , but it opens up more back the other way .....

A new location for me...looking forward to it. Good luck to everyone!!!

I have seen 10 deer within 50 yds. All does (two spotted fawns). Great opening morning. :) God is Good.

The only stand I could hunt from with the SE wind that was blowing Sat morning. Saw a yearling 1 pt and his sister, then a lone doe came thru. Felt great to be back in a tree!

Deer use this trail throughout my place. I bushhohgged about a mile and a half of trails back here. Turns out the deer find it convenient...

Opening morning ridgeline set up. It is a very narrow, ridge line full of mature oaks dropping acorns like rain!



Old logging road down a ridge that has a bunch of good, trails running through it.
