Anyone have any projects planned during the off season? For me, once the water gets off the property and dries up, I have a hole in the woods to open up.

Seal bottom of my pond boat and then paint the whole thing. TX rig about 4doz decoys. Might flock some heads too.
Stock up on #2 shells when they show up in Wal-Mart, for some reason coinciding with the opening of Canadian seasons.
Build a different pit out in the boot heel? Sorry brother I couldn't resist
Gonna put in a pit on opposite end of field. Done ordered it from osceola machine. Also gonna run some 8 inch pvc underground from my well to hole to keep open when very cold.

Doing some land leveling on a field, converting a diesel well to electric, and putting in a couple of screw gates. Really need this rain to let up
I'll be on the chainsaw clearing the couple acres behind the shop for the next 5-years.
You already are, you just dont know it.

Gotta talk to our lease owner and see what our options are then convince my friends to keep pissing away money at these leases we hardly ever get to hunt.
