Off-limits destination food plot

I was reading on another forum and came across this idea. The guy said it was one of the best things he has done on his property. I think this is a fantastic idea but would require a great amount of discipline.

Any thoughts on this idea?

i have off limits bedding area,the timber was select cut 5 years ago.it is thicker than heck.probably a hundred acres.

I always recommend that large "feeder" food plots be off-limits to hunting. If the plot was built to feed deer and increase their nutritional intake, why force them to feed in the plot at the risk of death?

Leave smaller "attractant" plots for hunting over.

I hear that! I'm struggling to get 1% of my ground in food plots.
