Anybody on here fish the East Fork of the Obey? I have some property on the river, and looking for some good smallmouth baits. I occasionally catch a 2-3 pounder, but see some really big ones that I can't even get a look.

I've done alright with shiners and live crawdads in some of the deeper holes well up into the headwaters.
Haven't caught many of the big ones on anything artificial in there once it gets riverine. I use 6lb flourocarbon in that super clear water and keep a low profile. Early Spring with a fishing kayak is best to me.
