Oats?

Mine are 6 to 10" tall,never seen that before.Funny things is,Im getting tons of food plot pics,guess they are just eating the clover?Never seen this before.

Even though I had plenty of red oak acorns on the ground, I was getting a shocking number of pictures in the food plots until the few white oaks carrying began to drop. Then my picture count at food plots went from 150/day to only about 15/day.

I planted oats last year and the deer didn't keep them cropped nearly as low as the ww the year prior.

I planted some oats but well see. Doubt I plant them again.

I planted oats, a little wheat and clover in my backyard plot and i'm gonna have to replant it looks like�they are hammering all of it!

Our deer dont typically start hitting the food plots hard until the first week of December and this has allowed some of the oats to "joint" in the past which isnt a good thing......Wheat doesnt tend to do that and as Bsk has stated in the past the wheat seems to be more cold hardy also.
