Oats?

Even though I had plenty of red oak acorns on the ground, I was getting a shocking number of pictures in the food plots until the few white oaks carrying began to drop. Then my picture count at food plots went from 150/day to only about 15/day.

Mine are 6 to 10" tall, never seen that before.Funny things is,Im getting tons of food plot pics, guess they are just eating the clover?Never seen this before.

Our deer dont typically start hitting the food plots hard until the first week of December and this has allowed some of the oats to "joint" in the past which isnt a good thing......Wheat doesnt tend to do that and as Bsk has stated in the past the wheat seems to be more cold hardy also.
