Oak trees

I have several small oak trees that I want to move on my property. They range from six.inches to three feet tall and range from pencil.diameter to no more than one inch.in diameter. How do I go about.moving them, what.time of year and what care do I.need to provide them with?

Move them during the winter when they are dormant. Do not let the roots dry out.
