Hey guys which hunt would you all reccomend to put in on? Doesn't if it's bow or gun hunt and which is the best hunt 1st 2nd or 3rd? any info would be greatly appreciated..thanks
 
I pulled the Dec Archery last year. Sucked bad. It was 9000 degrees out and people everywhere.
 
It was the second bow. I was the south Eastern....chestnut ridge road or something like that. I had two wonderful gentleman walk right by me right at dawn (within 10 feet) and not turn around or go a different direction....and then it got stupid hot. I was gone by 1 pm

That was a fact. Bout burst ino flames. Last 2 years weather has been terrible.

I have been staring at those Oak Ridge Harvest Reports all night. I'm putting in for Tower Shielding first date, and Poplar Creek 2nd hunt. Look at areas that border the Gun sections, find escape routes to cover and let the masses chase them your way.

Me too, both days! By the time I got my deer drug out I was down to my skivvies. The second one was particularly bad, she tumbled all the way down the ridges into some really thick mess!
 
Ok so I drew the December 14-15 Poplar Creek tag. If anyone would like to PM some info to me I would much appreciate it. I have never hunted there and any info from someone who has hunted there would be much appreciated.
 
I drew the first gun hunt on Oct. 19th-20th. I haven't hunted it in prob 16 years. Anyone have luck on the 1st gun hunt in the past?
 
Good luck tnbucls1 I put in for the first and second gun hunt but I didn't get either.
 
Thanks I believe a lot of the difficulty getting drawn this year was aside from it being a difficult draw is last years oct. hunt was cancelled so several including myself carried over extra priority points. Our party had 2.
