Any word if they will be cancelled with the Govt. shutdown?

Ya I believe only the first hunt was cancelled the last time as far as I can remember. I work out here and the Security supervisors haven't been told it's cancelled yet, but I feel like it will be. I'm just trying to find out early so I can change up my plans if needed.

Wildlife refuges are open for hunting; don't know if that applies to Oak Ridge or not, but it's a promising sign.

Most of the folks that make the decisions have been furloughed so who knows how this will go. In previous years, the national security related feds were not furloughed but that's not how it is now.

Those people get paid anyway when govt restarts don't they?
