Oak Ridge / Tower Shielding

Drew October hunt at Tower Shielding. This will be my 2nd trip.
Covered up with hunters the first day last year. No hunters and no deer on 2nd day. hoping for better this year.
Concerned about all the "RADIATION DANGER" signs I saw while scouting.
Anyone have any experiences at Tower Shielding to share?

I have hunted there, but it has been 8 yrs since my last time. Been putting in for Presidents Island every since. Finally got it this year. I have hunted tower shielding 4 times. The first 2 times I saw 2 or 3 good bucks, each hunt, but never got a shot. My buddy killed a good one. The 3rd time I killed a 130 plus 8 pointer. The last time I hunted it, they upped the quota numbers, and the hunt was aweful. Saw I think 3 doe, and a bunch of hunters. They were walking around the woods at all times of the day. Seemed like everytime I would think everything was settled, some one would walk though. I loved to hunt there, just wish they would drop the quota numbers of hunters, and bring back the antler restrictions.
