Oak ridge quota hunt muzzle loader

Hello I recently get drawed to hunt the ornl WMA (oak ridge) and bein my first time selected for anything like this it has got me all tore up with excitement, my question is has anyone hunted here before any success and do you have any good advice on a location or what to do to get at one of the monster bucks that are In there thank you for any advice or tips

Use the scout day! Cover a lot of ground. Draw it as often as you can and learn a little more of the area each time. After 30 years there isn't much of that place I haven't walked!

Have you killed any good deer in there? I worked inside Holstein ammunition plant in Hawkins county and I know how abundant deer are in there and how big they get but I don't know a whole lot about oak ridge. I heard most people hunt close to the checking station

The deer in my profile picture came from there last year. Some people hunt close to the checking station, but there are better areas.
