Here is a little motivation for those of you who have the next Oak Ridge hunt . This one made it through the first hunt , so good luck to everyone .

I knew a guy that was doing some contract work for DOE that watched a big buck for 3 years. he would move into a safety zone kudzu patch when the hunters came in for the scouting day the weekend before. he would stay until the hunt was over the next weekend.

No question the older deer avoid the pressure, but they cant reason and it causes them to slip up from time to time! More often than not the old bucks don't need to go anywhere, they simply go undetected right under the hunters noses most times!

It's not the radiation....location, location, location�haven't you noticed some things around Knoxville just seem to be going backwards for the last several years! :D

Agreed. If they feel they are hid, you about have to step on em before they will move!
