Oak Ridge fishing?

I am going to oak ridge for a convention this month the 23 thru 25, hopefully 22 for more fishing. Not sure if I'll be able to take the kayak yet and my fellow travelers say I probably wont have time but I know I will be fishing even if I have to hitch hike. Where would be some places to bass fish off the bank? and what kind of bait. I noticed the clinch river is around there and I remember reading where some of you have done good there. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks, Scott

There is alot of places you can fish around there! There is alot of good fishing off the bank as well as out of a boat. Cranks are doin realy good from what I hear. PM me later and we will talk!
