number of scrapes

The number of scrapes I have found on my property this year is more than I found the past 5 years combined. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed an increase in scrapes this year, and possibly what would cause such a spike in annual scraping activity.

Same here bud, I haven't seen this many scrapes in years at the farm.

I don't really pay attention to the # to notice more but this year on one ridge there has to be one every 25 yrds up the whole 400 yrd ridge line. That I did notice.

Yes, I have noticed a high number of scrapes this year. However, any number of reasons could exist for this, with local deer health, driven by a decent acorn crop, being high on that list.
