Food Plots Now What?

Last fall I planted red Clover, wheat & oats. Came in great. Mowed high three weeks ago. Clover looks great but spotty.
Fair amount of wheat seed on ground. Turkeys are hammering it daily.
I think I need to spray for weeds with 2-4D, Re-seed clover in lacking areas & fert with 0-20-20
Is this what you do versus killing it and re-seeding entirely?

Those kind of dilemmas are why I don't plant perennial clover mixed with annuals. Makes me hesitant to do anything else with the plot.

But also remember most red clovers are biannual, in that they only grow for two seasons. You can always drill fall seeds into the red clover.

kill it all, let God sort it out, then replant on a fresh seed bed.... but I don't care for perennial clover plots since I've failed miserably at growing them.

I'm in a similar situation... I've got a stand of red clover that I frost seeded back in March where I planted some winter rye previous fall. Its a decent stand but spotty and good amount of ground still visible. I'm planning on broadcasting over it with some wheat and crimson clover to fill it in.
