Nice work and photography. My thoughts....
I don't know if I'd spend much time looking for a bed. A deer doesn't have "a" bed; anywhere and everywhere is his bed, although he may prefer a specific area wherever he may be in his travels. I do like finding rub lines and it looks like you're on one with multiple big rubs. All things remaining the same next season, you have a good area to watch for. It looked like you had a good thick area funneling between 2 fields. All the rubs looked like they were on the same sides of the trees denoting direction of travel. Considering that most rubbing like that is done between the tail end of archery season and the pre rut gives you a most likely time frame. Also the rubs on the inside edge of the fields tell me they were most likely made in the PM making the area a likely late afternoon destination. This funnel didn't look too wide so it could be covered by rifle. I'd find me a potential tree for a stand and if it wasn't climbable with a climber I'd start working on it for a hang on stand and have it ready before season opened. I'd also try to find out where those rubs were headed and where they came from.

I do agree with most everything you said Mike except for one thing....bucks for the most part do not bed just anywhere and everywhere....they have specific beds that they prefer and the depression in the ground indicated to me that the bed i found in the video was one of his favorites (i know he has more than one) if not his favorite the recent droppings told me that he had used that bed in january because they were not dried out and it had been a month since season closed......I found four trails leaving that bed....one heading back to the river, one trail leading into the beanfield on right 10 yds to field, one leading to beanfield on left 25 yds, and one trail walking right down the drainage toward my truck. The only thing I must figure out now is if this bed is a wind specific bed and if so which wind does he like to have to lay there.
