Well im back in my home in SC, miss Tennessee sometimes. Anyway, i dont hunt all that much anymore, not a job anymore, but i do enjoy going. But here, we can do basically anything in season, they just want the deer gone theres so many. I have 2 stands facing the same spot basically, to take advantage of the wind. I will be trying to pull deer off an 160 thick as heck clear cut. They are killing the DEERCAINE, Lucky Buck, Mineral block, 15 gallon water pail, corn ,apples, and im gonna plant about 3/4 acres in clover, overseed with wheat in the fall? What else?
Just wanna see some deer, maybe get a doe, maybe get lucky on a nice buck.
Not interested in any preaching, corn piles are like mud holes here, not that big of an advantage, and its leagal,anything is really. any thoughts?
 
Low pressure would be the best advice I can give. Make your property the one the does want to live on. I like mineral sites but doubt they do much good. I'd also suggest summer food plots to help with recruitment.

If nothing has changed from the late '90s a 3/4-acre food plot will be nothing but a dust bowl/waste of money. The deer used to be so thick every car you passed on the street had damage and bean fields couldn't get over a foot tall.
