I got skunked this morning. I hunted young pines and they'd grown so much from last year I couldn't see diddily. That and the warm weather didn't help. When I came down I checked a spot just inside the timber from where I hunted this morning and a series of 5 draws that all feed into 1 hollow just the other side of there. I found several rubs on 9"-10" and 1 of thm was fresh. There's a great trail running down a hollow with a fresh but fainter trail running just below the top of the ridge along a very thick pine planting. I think I'll devote a couple of my next hunts to that spot.

Hunt the faint trail just below the ridge.

I'll be set up high along the edge of the pines above the faint trail. I'll be able to see somewhat into the pines and the entire ridgeside including the bottom. It has potential.

Andy...This is in that hollow north and west of where you got pics of that funky racked buck. If you run up the hollow and take the first finger to the right about 300 yards. The pines are loaded with sign.
