I am not 100% locked in yet but I think I may go climb me a bush in about 30-minutes. I have promised a guy two deer and need to take care of that.

When I left the house at 6:15 this morning, the front yard was full of deer. I figure they are going to browse again this afternoon before it gets too late. I may just go try and interrupt mealtime.

Re above-I could but I don't.

I went. I sat. I saw (6-pt), I did not shoot. I am doe hunting. Nice afternoon. Prolly go in the morning for a while.

I'll be out in the morning too. What phase do you think we are at in Wilson?

I have no idea but I have not seen a buck with or chasing a doe in several days. Today is the first time I have not been to the woods since 11-22 but I watch the deer here at the house and they aint doin nuttin but eatin.

I haven't seen any chasing either. Never did. I must have missed it. Haven't seen anything the past two days. Hoping something will walk by tomorrow.

I never saw any rut activity in Wilson Co either. I killed a 3.5 y/o last Saturday that was all alone and did not have one bit of stink to him. I reckon I missed it too.

Went this morning-Saturday- hung and swung and swayed for three hours, never saw a thing but a couple squirrels, never heard a shot.

swayed in the wind for about 5 hours, only deer seen was a set of legs walk thru some thick stuff, 4 squirrels and 3 shots! was slow today for sure.
