I sighted my muzzleloader in a week or so ago with the Hornady FPB's and it was shooting one hole groups at 50 yds.Well today I thought that I wanted it to be sighted in for dead on at 100 yds.Well I drive out to the catoosa fireing range and set up the target at 100yds,thinking that it would just hit low at that distance, and as far as I can tell, the first shot was a clean miss!I move it up to about 50 or 60 yds and they are all hitting to the left quite a bit.So I adjust and it starts coming back over the right and I run out of bullets. So now i made the trip for nothing. So now tomorrow,I am tasked with getting my muzzleloader sighted "back" in before saturday morning!Im just going to sight it back in to hit 2 or 3 inches high 50 yds at my parents house and let it be!This sucks!

I had a scope that was doing that. I'd had the gun looking good @ 100 yards and took it home and cleaned it. Went hunting and took a shot at a buck about 150 yards and he just stood there. Reloaded and took another shot, nothing. This time he and the doe made a circle and came within 50 yards, boom, nothing. Went to where I shoot and the thing was 15" high and about 8" to the right. Zeroed it in again thinking I must have bumped took it home and cleaned it. Went out 4 days later and shot at the target and it did the same thing.

I wacked my bow sight the Thursday before bow opened.
I know that feeling.
Panic.

I tried the FBPs last weekend. The Encore was scattering them all over at 50 yards. Switched back to the 250 gr. Shockwaves and put 3 in one hole. My gun just didn't like them.

I am drilling holes at 100 yds with shockwaves with the blue tips.
Have heard they don't expand much.
Guess I will find out.
Looks like they would to me.

Tried The FPB through my Omega, I didn't like how they loaded, very tight and even with Bore Butter they made that metal to metal schreeching sound all the way down the bore. Once loaded they grouped at about 11 inches @ 100 yards with 150 gr. of 777 pellets however backing of to 100 gr. they closed nicely to about 1 inch. A very impressive looking projectile with acceptable accuracy but I just could not tolerate that schreeching.

sorry for the trouble y'all are having. i have my New Englander hitting 1 3/4" groups at 50 yds. using prb's and a peep. its will kill them to 75 yds all day long.

Well im ready!I got her shooting very good today.Don't know what the problem was yesterday. All I did today was tighten all the scope mounting hardware down tight.Maybe something was lose, who knows? All I know is that first big doe walks out in the morning, she is going to be taking a ride in my truck!
