Food Plots Norway spruce?

Anybody plant norway spruce as an evergreen screen for food plots and fields?

How fast do they grow?

I've planted Leland cypress with success. Spruce should grow well with our temps. Spraying next spring (put a bucket over the planted seedlings) to reduce competition and proper fertilizer and pH will help.
