Hello again. I'll admit I'm your weekend warrior type of fisherman, but I'm slowly learning the ropes here in TN. I'm lucky to be able to stay at a lake house this weekend and next up on norris lake near mill creek/point 20 area. Just looking for some advice on what to try. there are quite a few rock bluff drop offs and steep rocky banks. I'll be after smallies. I have had luck on rattle trap in these areas, but was thinking of trying a pig n jig down the rocky banks. Do yall think any type of fluke will entice a strike. Anyway if someone could steer me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

I haven't fished much this year, but last year at this time I was catching smallies on crawfish imitation crank baits up in the creeks. if you figure it out, let me know.

If the water is as clear as usual this time of year on Norris, I would fish at night!

I have never fished Norris, but I catch a lot of smallies on rock bluffs at Watauga on live spring lizards. Also usually catch a few walleye fishing this way.

Well it was a bust this weekend. I fished shallow early of the morning and caught a few small LM. No smallies though. I don't think I'm fishing deep enough during the day. Oh well we'll try em next week.

They are catching fish 30-45 ft of water that is all I can get out of the guys at work I try not to fish this time of year on norris bc it is so hard to catch these dang things on the dead sea!
