Anyone been there recently? Done any good? It's been a few weeks but I'm going back today and will stay till tomorrow. Fishing mainly for catfish and walleye but whatever else bites.

Well I'm sitting at the ramp waiting to put in... The sky opened up at least 20 minutes ago and it's still raining. I can load Facebook and Tndeer on my phone but the radar won't load. Hope the fish are biting whenever the heck this storm passes through.

1 eating sized flathead on stringer so far. Barely did any trolling, gonna wear it out in the morning. Took 2 hours to get to lake, 1 hour to wait out the storm, then realize my USB adapter for the boat was broken... Had to check 2 gas stations before driving into tullahoma to buy one from Walmart so I can charge my phone and camera. When I finally got on the water it was almost sunset. Set up camp and caught some bait. Trolled until the end of dusk. I'm staying at camp listening for my bells to ring. So far it's been the flathead, baby channel and a small carp. then I'm gonna sleep and get up early to go after the eyes

No walleye this time but got the flathead, spotted bass, carp, baby channel cat and a largemouth. Slow fishing but enjoyable anyway, I love that lake, not much boat traffic and very peaceful

You are about a month late on the walleye. They were on fire for about 3 weeks.
I was there at least a month ago. Only been there 3 times and caught one short fish on the first trip.

I dont Walleye fish, I mainly bass fish. There is a couple fellas I worked with that are die hard walleye fisherman. They wear them out down there in the afternoons during mid to late July every year.

good to know that, thanks. Normandy has a good population of spotted bass if you like catching those. I caught one by accident on a live bluegill at night

My Father lives right behind the baitshop at the dam therefore ive grown up fishing Normandy. As far as the catfishing goes we typically jug fish and catch them off the step rock drop offs and bluffs, this year has been a great year for Normandy walleye fishing..caught a lot of fish up in the river on the flats, most of the fish were caught with a nightcrawler rig with a chartreuse blade.
