Love it...caught two that were close to 20 lbs. All in all prob caught about 20 cats with the smallest being about 2lbs. Only down side is that stuff will wear you out! We were on the go from 6:15 until 11 when we got off. We release all of them back, plan to keep a few next time!

Yep grabbling is a blast! Used to catch quite a few on Watts bar. My son actually caught 2 big Snappers noodling on Melton Hill a couple weeks ago! I will see if he has any pics.

im not talking grabbling...I would NEVER and I repeat NEVER do that...I mean floatin noodles...it makes me look like a better fisherman than I really am.

lol congrats.. I'm with you on the hand in water deal. I like all ten of my fingers

Noodling...it's where you throw out pool noodles that have PVC pipe attached to them...once a catfish gets on the pipe stands up...where I come from they are two different things...grabbling is with your hands and noodles are with "pool noodles".

Ok...thanks for clearing that up. I would call it more like a glorified way of jug fishing but with pipes instead of jugs. Either way it catches fish and that is all that matters.

I agree but Jugging would be with "jugs"...and I fish with "noodles"...therefore I call it noodling...lol...its all the same...you should try noodling you will be hooked....

Actually its not a lake its the TN River in South Huntsville, Alabama. I got into it by seeing guys do it while I was out tubing so decided to give it a try. Got on youtube watched a few video on how to make them and went out and bought the supplies. For under 15 dollars you can build 5. I am going in the morning and hoping it goes as well as last week, plan on frying up some tomorrow night.
