Tried something a little different... broadcasted radish-Kale-Rape into standing Clover... rolled it in...
I just couldn't bring myself to terminate a stand like this.....it seems to have germinated well, my only worry is will the greens have to fight for nutrients?
Have any of u guys did this with success?

I think you should be good. The hardest part is getting germination in that dense clover. Brassicas require nitrogen. With clover being a legume, and by the looks of your field, you will have PLENTY of nitrogen LOL!

Keep us updated. I don't think I could have brought myself to terminating that clover either and would have probably done the same thing you did.
 
Looks good. I did the same recently. No pics yet but we'll see next week.

Update- Greens are growing in the clover but not as thick as I would hope.....

Clover is great! But it will choke out everything else when it is happy.

I planted a field last fall with 70lbs of wheat per acre, 5lbs balansa clover, 3lbs ecotill radishes, 10lbs fria rye, and 3lbs rape...

The clover took over by spring and we got 2.2 6ft bales per acre of unreal quality hay. After cutting, we burned the field with roundup and drilled forage beans. The clover took back over and choked out the beans. Balansa is annual and it all died 1st of Aug leaving me a field of scattered overbrowsed beans and weeds.

Don't get me wrong, I love clover in the winter and spring... but it will absolutely outcompete other forages. I will add 2,4 d with the roundup next summer to for a better burn down before beans go in.

I typically frost seed clover every year in late winter..... i haven't had much luck with beans i don't have a lot of plot space.... the clover is only thing that will stay ahead of the deer in spring/summer.... it typically doesn't make it through august but it has been so wet here this year it is still going strong.....
